Can you keep up with the Action ?
If you think you can, are aged between 10½ & 15 years old and are looking to break out from your normal routine activities, well why don't you come and join the Tieri Scout Troop. Come on, we dare you to give us a go.
Our troop meets on a Thursday night from 6:30PM to 8:30PM and we hope to see you soon.
Scouts meet in a group called a Troop and the
Troop is then broken down into smaller units called Patrols. Patrols are under
the leadership of one of the Scouts called a Patrol Leader. Working in Patrols
enables the Scout
to practise basic leadership,
self-government, and citizenship skills during regular Troop meetings and camps.
The main object of the Patrol System is to give responsibility to as many Scouts
as possible.

Scouts is full of adventure, canoeing, sailing, camping, swimming, socialising and fun. The Scout program is action packed and different each week and focuses on 'learning by doing'. Unlike the Joey and Cub Scouts sections where the leaders organise the program, the Scouts are encouraged to organise and run many of their activities.
